Building Begins

After the first successful Charity Gala Dinner held by QSI school of Tbilisi and many kind volunteers, we are thrilled to commence with the building work on the property. The event raised more than $13,000 which makes for a fantastic start.

Recently the International Women’s Association (IWA) generously donated a further $2,000 towards furnishing our new building. So we are well underway and able to fund the first 2 building phases. A huge thank you goes out to Aleid Dolmar from the IWA for initiating this support.

Once we are finished the house will have 3 bedrooms and generous living areas that can accommodate 6 mothers and their little ones. The house is in a calm quiet neighborhood with a fantastic view of Tbilisi and is located near an international community and school. This home will be a safe haven for mothers and children in need, as well as a launching pad for them to become independent and successful mothers.
