TRAINING AND EQUIPPING MOTHERS

One of the mothers at the shelter has recently completed training in banking and is currently looking for a permanent job. We have all been impressed with her enthusiasm and determination, as this is a big milestone for her. Another mother is about to start training in one of the most prestigious hairdressing salons of Tbilisi.

The mothers also attended a sewing training earlier in the summer and designed a line of handmade bohemian styled pillows for a local hotel. Since both of their daughters just turned 1 year old and were accepted at a nearby daycare, the moms have been free to focus on building their skills and planning for the future. We hope that educating the mothers in as many areas as possible will prepare them for a successful and independent life.
